Developing return to work (RTW) Tools: Job dictionaries and task analysis

Return to work (RTW) tools such as Job Dictionaries and Task Analysis support organisations in the RTW process and ensure best practice is followed.

A Job Dictionary, which is a collection of Task Analysis documents, provides an easy reference guide to the RTW process, from induction and recruitment to communication with treating practitioners. Each Task Analysis document captures the physical, cognitive and psychological demands of a job role so that appropriate duties can be presented when making return to work decisions.

This course covers the process of conducting a Task Analysis and developing tools that participants can use in their own businesses.

Appropriate workplace behaviours: Addressing incivility, bullying & everything in between

Maintaining a supportive and cohesive workplace culture is of paramount importance to organisations. Bullying, harassment, discrimination and day-to-day incivility pose substantial risk from a safety, injury and Fair Work perspective. When workplaces create an inclusive, supportive and accepting culture they see the positive impact across all other areas of their business. By understanding both the positive and negative experiences in this space, workplaces can be empowered to create a thriving environment and drive a reputation as an employer of choice. This course will help you to understand what is meant by unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying and inappropriate behaviour along with the practical and legally obligated strategies for creating a working environment free from these experiences.
